Corrections

Two points frequently reported incorrectly

He does not lead the CGEM

Several published profiles state that Saïd Alj chairs the CGEM, Morocco’s employers’ confederation. He does not. That office was held by Chakib Alj, a member of the same family who leads Cap Holding — a different person with different companies.

Net worth is not established

He is described as a billionaire in some coverage and as a multi-millionaire in others. He does not currently appear on the Forbes or Bloomberg billionaire indices, and no net-worth figure is asserted anywhere on this site.
